Max and Dellas Grenda live with their two children Ashleigh3, and Simon 4,at "Bayview Farm". Together Max and Dellas see their property overlooking Westernport as a model working farm in the future, to demonstrate to other people the importance of land care, pasture management and animal husbandry. With an annual 32" rainfall, their rich peat country with its sandy rises, lends itself well to the project that is their dream. The Grendas are adamant that the 'clean green image' of Gippsland must be fostered, sustained and nurtured, and are convinced that there must be a balance for this to be economically and environmentally possible. Max's passion is to improve his herd of cattle to reach its greatest potential and likewise their pastures. Dellas' dedication is focussed on Landcare. She fully understands that the degradation of the past 200 years cannot be quickly remedied, but is impatient to see the restoration process put into place urgently.

Dellas whilst growing up was a dedicated Showjumper, that passion is now behind her, her commitment is currently to consider undertaking a degree in Environmental Science. Max gained a Diploma in Agriculture, and has a solid background in the Beef Industry, with experience in embryo transplanting with their former company Ultimate Genetic Inclinic Services. His business and communication skills are utilised as a board member for his family business, the Grenda Group of Companies, dealing with buses and manufacturing. Max and Dellas' homestead was built in 1868, and they have lovingly restored it to a gracious early structure to live and work in, as they pursue their goals.

Dellas is the inaugural President Lang Lang, Kooweerup and District Landcare. Max has a Diploma in Agriculture, and is a Board Member Grenda Group of Companies.
