Geoff and Linda Jennings and their two sons Mathew (15) who is headed toward Aerodynamic Engineering) and Miles (9) live at Bruthen surrounded by spectacular views. From the highest part of the property, they enjoy a 360 degree panorama of glorious East Gippsland country. The Angus cattle grazing on the Tambo River flats, and the homestead nestled below present a picture postcard vista.

Linda works off-farm as a Schoolteacher, Geoff also teaches two days a week, channelling his energies basically into "Warrawillah". Geoff is an advocate of the benefit of belonging to groups, that offer ideas to property operators. He is President of the Bruthen Landcare Group and himself has planted hundreds of trees. The professional advice offered by such organisations as DNRE, VFF, and the BIA is invaluable to farmers, when producing prime beef for the domestic market, and selling to feedlots. Geoff's minimum turn-off weight for his beef is 400 kg., and his Angus cattle comply with this standard.

Interacting with other graziers, exchanging ideas, and discussing problems are beneficial to Geoff and Linda's aims during difficult times. Drought plans are not needed at "Warrawillah" - in the worst years, their Angus cattle still graze the ever green Tambo River flats, perfectly suited by the climate to finish at 400 kg plus.
