Our Difference
Our Process
Gippsland Natural is a farm to fork group of passionate farmers keen to follow our produce through to the end consumer - be they leading chefs, discerning home cooks, or parents looking to provide healthy, tasty, grass-fed beef for their kids.
- Our beef is raised in the Gippsland region of Victoria and most of us grow Angus or Angus cross cattle. Cattle are grown out to 18-24 months of age and are carefully looked after to minimise stress. No hormonal growth promotants (HGPs) are used, and cattle are grazed in a free range environment without being penned up in a feedlot at any stage.
- When we process the cattle, we use the MSA grading system to underpin the quality of the meat. Having a good story is one thing, but the MSA system gives us certainty that the food we produce will meet a strict eating quality benchmark every time.
- We aim to add value to our beef as best we can utilising the MSA cut and cooking methods. We now have our own small team of skilled butchers who carefully cut, slice, dice and pack our produce to suit customer requirements.
- Deliveries are made in our own meat van throughout metropolitan Melbourne and South Gippsland, or can be organised through licensed refrigerated couriers across Victoria or interstate.
When you place an order with Gippsland Natural you can expect the highest quality of meat possible. Orders must be placed by midnight on Sunday for delivery the following week. We deliver on Thursdays and Fridays (unless alternative arrangements have been made).
There is a $25 delivery fee for orders under $95 dollars.
